Stranger and Flyer

Weekend is coming and I choose as my leisure time, talking little bit my activity during the weekend in Indonesia usually I went for biking, riding motocross or running. Since I am here and I did not have any bike or motocross so I started to run more often. I ran almost every weekend in Santa Cruz, there is a nice running path that people love to go, this path located along the side of the sea port and has a great view of the ocean, you could see the ferry comes and goes.

My special moment happened when it was my second time for running, it was a runner guy came closer to me and asked me in spanish “De donde es?” I knew he wants to know where I am from, and I said, “soy de Indonesia”, he was so surprised because Indonesia is far away from here, he was keep talking and asked more questions to me while we were running. When we stop to run, this guy was dragging me to the tourism center in Santa Cruz and asked to the guy in counter and they were talking together. Since my spanish is not perfect yet, I don’t know what they were talking about, but later I noticed that the guy was bringing his camera and asked for my picture. After 15 minutes rest around the port, I realized these two guys were printed several flyers of tourism promotion and has my picture on it. What a cool moment with this runner guy before we were saying goodbye he was saying to me “this is the certificate of today” , finally I have my flyer and we were laughing together.
