When we think about our first voluntary service, we never think about going to the other side of the world. But I always believed that the only impossible journey in life is the one you never take; An adventure that began with an impulse and a desire to help, and finally brought me experiences that made me grow as a person. Be a volunteer taught me to look more closely to the world we live in. Now I collect my energy to strengthen solidarity and citizenship, in order to strengthen mutual support and understanding in communities. I learned to focus and dedicate myself to a cause I believe in, make one of the largest global industries more sustainable. And I will only be able to make other people believe it, if I keep a positive attitude and really believe in what I am conveying. And like many heads are better than one, teamwork has become indispensable and give me good account which is working together and how that can help you to learn more and respect the different personalities and cultures. I understand there are different fronts of problems and now I learn to look for opportunities instead of problems, I became more flexible. This experience as a volunteer has made my life less artificial, giving me the opportunity to make new friends and share with them knowledge and ideas, beginning to give more value to human relationships and small gestures that can make a difference, and of course the satisfaction to feel useful.
At the end, I will be the biggest winner with volunteering, I'll make friends, accumulate experiences, help others, and above all, I will have fun.
