Awareness

Every  Thursday I am attending a class of Tourism students of Universidad de La Laguna focus on hiking and development. I learnt not only the methodology of tourism development but also had experience to see how tourism connected with economic, environment, and culture.

One of the subject that he has been shared with the student was the numbers of tourist who are coming to Tenerife. Tourism business has been growing rapidly, which on 2014 had four million arrivals, excluding the numbers of  Spanish tourists which make up an additional 30 percent of total arrivals. This huge numbers of visitors for sure has advantages and disadvantages, as we know more people come to one area is needed to develop or build more facilities and infrastructures which can makes the environment is damaged. Along with this fact, I wish in the future people would be more aware with culture, nature, and people itself even though only being a tourist.
